Internationally the terms are used interchangeably, however; in the UK, a bodyguard primarily focuses on physical protection, often with a visible presence to deter threats, and is trained in self-defence and first aid. An executive protection officer, on the other hand, provides a more comprehensive security service, including threat assessment, travel planning, and crisis management, with training that extends to surveillance detection and advanced security strategies.

While bodyguards are primarily concerned with the immediate physical safety of their clients, executive protection officers manage overall security, often operating discreetly to ensure client safety without attracting attention. The specific roles can vary depending on client needs and security firm policies.

This completely depends on the number of security personnel required and for the duration. However, as a client you can expect to pay between £600-800 per officer, per day. All of this of course is negotiable, however in this industry, what you pay for is what you get, and we wish you only have the best service you deserve.

Within the United Kingdom no civilian security officers carry firearms or weapons of any kind. This is subject to law. In some foreign countries it may be a necessity or an absolute requirement to carry firearms, and we would arrange this as of when it is required.

All of our staff have attended and completed the mandatory Security Industry Authority Level 3 Close Protection course. However, this as those in the industry is the bare minimum and you are expected to carry out as much of your own professional development as possible.

Members of our network have conducted security driving courses, surveillance and technical counter measure training along with advanced medical courses.

All of this comes on top of previous police or military careers where they have attained real-life dynamic risk assessment training and have been exposed to live threats and scenarios.

All enquiries will be treated with absolute confidentiality.

Whilst out on your everyday business, we can adopt a low-profile posture, such as appearing as part of the entourage, therefore not giving the impression you have security at all. In fact, this is very common.

We also have the option of protective surveillance teams where you wouldn’t even be aware of our presence, just the trust knowing you are being looked after.

However some of the expenses typical are travel and accommodation. Arrangements can always be made between ourselves and the client to come to the best solution.
